What a shame that was an April Fools' prank... probably. They don't say it, but the video was released on March 31st 2019.

Why would he think that dropping electronics would be the best way to demonstrate the lack of a wire, though? ๐ฌ๐คฆ

A computer mouse pluralised is technically mouses, but mice is accepted due to commonality.
I'll be around with more useless shit no one asked for but may find mildly, mildly, interesting.

I'll be long dead in the ground before I use the word 'mouses'.
Sotuanduso@lemm.ee · 17 pts · 2y
On this day we remember the life of bizarrocullen, who has used the word 'mouses' and died just hours ago.

I have an elecom huge at work, and when somebdy asks me what kind of mouse is this, I say it's not a mouse, it's a rat.
Patariki@feddit.nl · 16 pts · 2y
Why stop there? Let's rename the mouse buttons to mouse/hamster buttocks.
FooBarrington@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 2y
What is the scroll wheel then? Mouse cock?
Kecessa@sh.itjust.works · 6 pts · 2y
You guys don't call it the clit already?
FooBarrington@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 2y
No, that's the red-ish circular thingy on top that you press on and slightly move your fingers for great effect.
I miss my old ThinkPad.

As a bonus, "Xhamster" finally makes sense as a porn site name! I think.. ๐ค
lemann@lemmy.one · 6 pts · 2y
What was the reasoning behind that name anyway, sounds a bit "hmmm" thinking about it now lol
kemsat@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 2y
The cheek-filling power of hamsters?
Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 2y
Yeah, now that you mention it, I think I'd prefer not to know ๐

Brilliant! We'll call the scroll wheel "the hamster wheel"!

This had me wondering what the first mouse I ever used looked like as it was so long ago I don't remember, and it was this:
Makes me feel ancient. Still, it's better than the very first mouse from 1964, which looks like something from Fallout:

Patches@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 2y
Back in the days when you asked someone to move the mouse to the button, and they picked that shit up off the desk ๐คฃ.
over_clox@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 2y
People look at me weird when I turn the mouse upside down and rub it's balls.
