Finally Installed the Medicine Cabinet I've been putting off for over a year.

Decided Father's Day was a good day to install the medicine cabinet that's been sitting in my bathroom for over a year. Had my son help me with the install.

Look at all those tools... installed new studs... apparently measured twice and cut once. Hardly seems dull

Yeah, I boxed it out with some 2x4's so I would have something to mount it to.

Here's a rough sketch I used when I was planning it out.

Tools are mostly left over from when I was an electrician, before I went back to school to get my degree. I have gotten a few new ones as I need them, but most of them are old. I think my M18 combo set is nearly 20 years old. I did pick up an M12 set to keep in my truck to use when I'm not at the house.

I think it's called a "Knockdown" drywall texture.

This looks fantastic! Quick question, can the cabinet door smack into the mirror? If so I would recommend putting padding somewhere on the cabinet door.
