I got something for the summer heat

I went into the city with my mom yesterday for an errand. Along the line we made a quick stop to check for some dresses and summer clothes, where we found this.

It was a present from my mom :)

Originally I was expecting it to be a dress, due to the way the pant legs looked. When I tried it on, I first felt quite disappointed and didn't want to take it until I saw my mom's reaction. She loved it and it gave me a huuuge confidence boost.

At home, my partner also was stunned when I showed it to them. Thus I am really happy about it :)

Don’t forget that black doesn’t just make you look hot, it absorbs sunlight and makes you actually hot! 😜😅

It does, but I really like black as a clothing color! And I don't go into sun light a lot, so I think that is not going to be too big an issue xD

Yes, it is not a dress. I think it's more appropriately called a jumpsuit, at least that's how I'd call it.

Regarding your first sentence, is that a question or just emphasizing that you are happy my mom got it for me? XD

I meant to emphasise that I was happy to hear about your supportive mom. I understand why you were confused though.

There's nothing in the world that makes me happier than parents that love and affirm and support their trans and queer kids.

Oh yeah, absolutely. It's horrible how often this doesn't seem to happen. I am quite lucky that both my parents are so accepting and supportive. One of my moms is Trans, too, so that might've helped
