Chicago’s Red Line Extension receives $1.9 billion federal commitment

Man this is seriously awesome! $2 billion in public transit investment is no joke! Keep the money comin

The article states this hasn’t been confirmed yet, but they’ve passed the major hurdles so it’s moving right along. It’s apart of a grant from the fed.

I want to see more connections between lines that are not in the loop...

I'm glad that it apparently isn't adding more highway median stations. Those are horrible.
