Australia toughens kids' social media ban, doubles potential penalties for tech firms

I was joking when I said I thought Australia would do this after realizing the ban wasn't working, ughhhh.

I hope Australians know they have willfully chosen death for a real number of Australian kids by cutting them off from the social internet, this is manslaughter.

They didn't try charging anyone with the old penalty yet, so it's not clear to me that the size of the penalty is the problem.
