I'd never heard of this, and couldn't figure out what was going on. Wikipedia says:
It shows a scene from the Histories by Herodotus, in which Candaules, king of Lydia, invites his bodyguard Gyges to hide in the couple's bedroom and watch his wife Nyssia undress, to prove to him her beauty. Nyssia notices Gyges spying and challenges him to either accept his own execution or to kill Candaules as a punishment. Gyges chooses to kill Candaules and take his place as king. The painting shows the moment at which Nyssia, still unaware that she is being watched by anyone other than her husband, removes the last of her clothes.
Etty hoped that his audience would take from the painting the moral lesson that women are not chattels and that men infringing on their rights should justly be punished, but he made little effort to explain this to audiences. The painting was immediately controversial and perceived as a cynical combination of a pornographic image and a violent and unpleasant narrative, and it was condemned as an immoral piece of the type one would expect from a foreign, not a British, artist.
Great question - I was wondering about this a week or so when there was a few news articles saying China's reserves were high, when I'd previously heard from a source I trust that a big reason the gas prices hadn't been worse was that China was running it's stocks down and they were at about 25% of 2025 levels. I have a vague feeling that China agreed to publishing them a few years back, but don't know where. EIA used to be a trusted source, and there's this - Oil and Gas journal (paywalled).

Seems like the perfect technology to create a browser extension that re-writes article headlines to be non-clickbait and actually reflect the content of an article. Bonus points if it could redo youtube titles and thumbnails.
As a tinkerer, I have tried Portainer a couple of times, and another similar thing, but I end up never looking at them, and revert to just jumping into the command line. A bonus of this approach is keeping a copy of all my compose files in a repo.
If OP is being drawn to this because they want to know everything's running, what they're really looking for is monitoring - probably Uptime Kuma.
The art is not just the thing - it's impossible to experience it in isolation of it's context which you've constructed from your experiences and feelings and knowledge as well as how the art is situated and framed to you. This might be the point of the Fountain.
So I think it's impossible to separate the work for the artist if you have knowledge pertaining to them. Michael Jackson was an incredible talent, and his music is significant in my memories of my own childhood, but it hits different for me now. If we played his music to an alien freshly arrived from Mars they might think it's perfect, but it never can be again for us.

They didn't try charging anyone with the old penalty yet, so it's not clear to me that the size of the penalty is the problem.
