It has the same lead actor (Mahershala Ali) and director (Bassam Tariq) as the Blade movie was supposed to have, before Marvel kicked it to death. He also has a blade in this movie.
This might as well be the spiritual equivalent to the Blade movie.
The trailer has little to no spoilers, and I have not looked up any other information about the movie.
