No, the sonic boom will be “much quieter “ which translates to booms over poor people and wildlife.

Besides, this is all for wealthy elites only. Pleebs can get in the commercial jets that are actually slower than their predecessors.

Not quite. Quite a lot of R&D has gone into this. The result is a sonic boom that's quieter to begin with and a lot of it is actually directed upwards.
