ALL of his ill-gotten gains from his time in office must be disgorged, with SEVERE penalties on top. Leave him, his companies, his family, and his enablers in poverty.

This is the only way forward. And while it would be satisfying to see them executed, I think we can do even better. We can send them to a prison in the South where they can get rented out as slaves to fast food chains, then return to jail at night to get beaten by guards and pin cushioned by other inmates. And that can be their life until they die of old age in the prison system they helped build.

The other option would be to put them in specially designed rooms where the ceiling can be lowered via hydraulics all the way to the floor. Then after keeping them in solitary for a few months in the room, the ceiling will suddenly begin to lower over the course of a day until there's a 1.5ft gap between the floor and ceiling. Then it can raise back up. Then after a few more days it lowers to create a 1.3 foot gap. Rinse and repeat over the course of a year until there is no gap anymore and they get crushed to death.

Televise the cctv cams from the room.

Hey, cryptobros that are all riding trumps cock...

Where did this 1.4B come from? It didn't appear out of thin air. It came from people who he bought from and sold to.

Crypto is just like stocks. In order for one person to 'win', countless more must lose.

Read: he took this money from you.

How much of this also was just a way to money-launder from some of the worst people/countries in the world, as well?

This Congress? Funniest joke I heard today. Remember when Republicans voted to limit Trump Iran war and he brought all of them together and yelled at them until they just changed their votes? Also remember when Johnson lost control of them and sent them on vacation? How many times he did that?

We've been going about this the wrong way. In any normal occasion you'd pass a law to punish the beneficiary, but the President isn't a normal person. Make laws that punish benefactors and enablers.

For every 1k someone gave to him or donated to his campaign, they should get a year in prison

Congress won't act. The court will strategically hem/haw a path through allowing one specific advantage and not allowing another specific disadvantage. Need to think of something else.

AfricanExpansionist@lemmy.ml · 2 pts · 34d

Don't worry; they won't

Treczoks@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 34d

Yes, they must, but No, they won't.

If you think Congress is going to do anything other than get in on the crypto grift, I assure you that they will not.
