If the DNC were an NFL wide receiver, the sports media world would be doing 24/7 coverage on approaching the record for most touchdown passes dropped in a single season and the head coach would be on the hot seat if not fired mid season for continuing to start them

The DNC is an indirectly elected body. Some members are surely bought off. Many are not. Their actual power is remarkably slight, and they can't dictate what candidates or elected officials say or do
