I smile everytime I read 'Amazon sued'

Good. They should have added an ad-supported tier people could opt in to, like everybody else did, instead of changing the existing tier to be ad-supported and requiring people to pay extra to opt out.

Cancelled my over decade old Prime subscription right after they injected ads into it.

I shop less, and still get Amazon shows, ad-free.

Came here to post the same. It was getting expensive but I was hanging on. The ads were the final straw.

Unfortunately Amazon has me locked into their ecosystem with their 5% cash back credit card. After I buy a house, I intend to cancel Prime and cancel the credit card, as I'll be able to weather that hit to my credit score.

Fuck, I hate credit cards.

That’s funny, I literally cancelled my prime subscription yesterday after being prompted to pay to remove ads.

Back to the high seas for me.
