I assume the comment was meant to indicate, pick a unit of measure and stick to it. As opposed to Fahrenheit at the top, and Celcius in the body. Not to antagonize the use of Fahrenheit in general.

Also, stating that the use of Celcius is Euro-centric is a little awkward:

America lost the right to tell other people about units of measurement when it elected someone who's concience can't be measured by any of them.

Scientific American ought to use scientific units.

The rest of the world uses Celsius. Why should we cater to a bunch of pedos?
