Greed is why they stagger releases. They expect an insane amount of people to buy it both on console and pc. They just want to double dipp on as many idiots as possible.
Did anyone expect this game to be released at the same time for consoles and PCs?
Rockstar has literally never released a GTA game simultaneously on both platforms. The PC release has always been delayed by several months if not years.
The simplest explanation to me is that this way they get to double dip, since there will be people who buy it on Playstation, who will then also buy the PC version.
I did a quick Google, and apparently GTA 1 came out on PC before it was released on PlayStation, and GTA 2 was released on PlayStation five days before it was released on PC (according to Wikipedia)
I guess I should have specified every release since GTA III
I wouldnt be surprised if it’s for double dipping but I also wouldn’t be surprised if they’re just fucking incompetent. They might not actually have the PC release ready. The last time the PC release came out after the console release it was broken as fuck.
I would like better audio processing. My ps4 got an update a few years ago where it couldn't handle all of the digital audio codecs that my (25 year old) audio receiver needed. I don't know why it lost a codec, but it did.
Yeah, I read lips too because of the tinnitus. One old girlfriend thought I was staring at her lips when she talked because I wanted to kiss her, which was true, but I stare at everyone's lips and I reserve smooches for cats, kittens, puppies, and other deserving life forms like my wife.
The advantage they have is that they are all the same, so you can theoretically rely on the online system for all the digital maintenance you need (still gotta clean the dust out). It let's developers simplify and tweak the console version of the game so theoretically it should run well. There's a lot of theoreticallys in there, I know it's not te most consistent.
When it came to GTA V, I wanted it. Oh, did I want it. Didn't buy it for several years, then a friend gave me an Xbox 360 copy because he didn't like it, then another several years later, having never finished the game, I ended up getting a PC copy for less than $10.
$10 feels like too much to give to Rockstar at this point.

Triple if you consider that they will most certainly launch a disc edition sooner or later for consoles.

I don't think they were called Rockstar back then.

Rockstar became into existence during GTA1, they released mission packs for it then became the publisher generally before GTA2

It's been a while since I completed a GTA game. I won't buy it for the price they are selling it at.

Wait, is GTA VI going to be 30fps? Awful.

At this point consoles are just locked-up PCs. There's nothing left for them.

Yeah, without some sort of revolutionary hardware that's only good for graphics theres no difference

Me and you both, I gotta say what three times before I understand most people unless I'm looking at their lips when they talk

How are they even able to talk with that much cock in their mouths?
Kolanaki@pawb.social · 1 pts · 42d
It's a corporate cock, so it's not really much bigger than a grain of rice.

Don’t buy it. It’s not food. It’s not important.
