Anisolabis maritima the seaside earwig is a very large earwig that can't fly. They are mostly harmless and eat ticks, fleas, gnats and... other things... :(They can be good mothers, they care for their young feeding them until they are large enough to live on their own... however if food is scarce the mother earwig may eat the youngest so she can be done with taking care of kids and get on with her life.
