I'd think if the stock holdings are too great and in place for too long it might violate the charter and mission.
I'm talking about public companies. People didn't invest in a company just to have them go invest somewhere else. (Unless the charter is for an investment bank... Are there public companies that are also investment banks?)
I'm so proud of her. She has raised all of those little ants by herself in the dark without eating once.
When I check on her she is always cleaning them, gently moving them and watching for when she will need to help clean them and free them from the pupal case when they are ready to move.
So, because I think that everyone should have a say there isn't much point in me deciding on some elaborate plan in advance of ... getting to know my neighbors and what they want, what they need, what they care about and putting the concerns of those with the lest conventional power FIRST.
Otherwise I'm just talking to myself and people on the internet.
I'm very tired of people who try to insult me by calling me a normie or a democrat. Like I don't care.
"Leftists are just Democrats who want to seem to not be Democrats."
This is mostly true. I consider myself a "leftist" I strongly prefer that term because I think all Democrats are ineffective. And I think electoral politics is insufficient but also necessary.
People who live in any place should have control of the institutions including government should they want one. And it's up them how that power should be used from social democracy to some kind of anarchism.

I probably just don't understand business.
@llewelly
I would rename them whatever is latin for "cute fat little ants with heads and butts in similar proportions"
Cephalarumpus maybe.
@llewelly
It's not totally useless. Just with that group. And thankfully they stand out in other ways and aren't that hard to ID to that level.
But also, this is why it kind of sucks that the rules for naming are so obsessed with making the very first name stick no matter how goofy or wrong.

@bitprophet
That was how this encounter felt.
(The pavement ants did not like me shining a photography light in their nest.)
@bitprophet
This happens to me all the time.
@samlitzinger@journa.host
I think they have the same mouth, their eyes seem very different to me.
@samlitzinger@journa.host
LMAO it's literally the total opposite guy of who I thought it was.
@samlitzinger@journa.host
John Brown? He looks like a wizard if that's him.
