I think at that point they're already quite drunk so it's slow and slurred

This was oddly similar to my July 1st except I omitted any sort of pledge and continued the binge from June 30th.

So, every child in US has to go through this piece of indoctrination?

If it takes you an hour to review the pledge of allegiance then you clearly started on drunk early.
