The EU will extend temporary protection for Ukrainians fleeing Russia’s war until March 2028, while excluding newly arriving Ukrainian men of military age from the scheme.
Under the European Commission’s proposal, temporary protection would no longer be granted to newly arriving individuals who are not permitted to leave Ukraine because of military obligations under Ukrainian law.

They do help them fight. Without the EU these men wouldn't be forced into the meatgrinder because Ukraine would have long been defeated.
The EU will make sure to fight Russia until the last Ukrainian.

Russia is murdering people even in provinces they control, and are sending ballistic missiles against residential buildings.
Ukraine doesn't want to be oppressed. They would've fought even without assistance.
You're acting like it's inevitable that Russia will win, even after the tides have turned in the new drone warfare. Russia is losing ground.
Why are you not concerned that Russia is slaughtering the people they force into the military under false premises, at massive scales?
