The Accountant, when the main character is talking to the old people in the office about claiming part of your houses expenses against your hobby, and fiddling with the numbers.
It’s a stretch but Mark Duplass’ character, Phil, is a scientist and researcher for a company that did imaging research before creating/discovering the doorway into the Backrooms. I’d like to think that at one point of his career he was an x-ray tech of some sort.
So kinda, sorta, maybe a movie about a x-ray tech as I know nothing but the bare minimum about what x-ray techs do so I’d like to believe they explore weird parallel dimensional limbo spaces.
Shin Godzilla. The atmosphere in the scientists' room and their attitudes when one of them makes a breakthrough are almost identical to the most intense days at my job.
Hear me out. West World is a qa environment to test if a robot is actually a copy of a person. Grandma’s Boy is Sandler-slop set in a world without version control.

There’s only one movie about what I do, and it’s quite misleading. Most machinists actually do sleep.

I've never seen (or heard of) a movie that tries to depict what an XRay tech does.
Anyone have suggestions?
