My favourite local has aisles comfortably wide enough for 3. Hell, there's even enough space to get past old people when they do that thing where they stop and reboot for a few minutes at a time.

Back in my day parents used the threat of violence (sometimes actual violence) to keep their kids in check. Now supermarket kids are feral.

they still do; just go somewhere where there isn't a single white face nor english spoken and you'll see kids get beat again for stepping out of line.

I've never been in a major grocery store where this isn't the case. I can imagine some small town independent store, or convenience store where this would be true.
