My headcanon of Lady Butterfly is she's a like 70 year old Nan who lives out in WhoKnowsWhereShire England and wears flowing floral print dresses and bakes delicious muffins with things from her garden that she brings to the local friends of the museum meetings and has 3 delightful grandbabies and hits her son with her cane sometimes when he backtalks her, but she went through a terrible transformation after a chance encounter with a witch and has been caught in the body of a 15 year old and forced to go back to school as penance for accidentally stepping on a snail or something. So, you know, sometimes you accidentally make assumptions, it's just human nature.
