Jambalaya. Soul food isn’t called that for nothing. And there’s plenty of food outside the broad definition of soul food that qualifies the feeling. Like any pasta — lasagne (look at its effects on Garfield), baked macaroni and cheese, baked ziti with sausage and peppers (though I prefer rigatoni here).
