Any thoughts on resistancekitty dot com?

I just found them via search engine. Read about the diy protest sound system and the whole page screams "SLOP" at me.

It just seems sus, but maybe I shouldn't judge by it's cover. Maybe you folks know of the site and whether or stay clear.

Dunno why you didn't provide a link: https://resistancekitty.com/

I agree with your first impression. Tbh I would assume 99% of content there is AI generated.

But looking closer this seems to me like someone (possibly just 1 person) either

  • trying to profit from resistance against Trump by pushing their vaguely related AI slop on every platform possible to generate impressions, build a following and funneling that to getting them to buy merch
  • OR
  • trying to help the resistance in a way that is not really comprehensible to us, because its kinda very online, very unusual in a way. I thknk that might be the case as they also seem to provide many ressources free of charge.

Maybe its also both.

I didn't want to give them the traffic in the case it's pure slop.

The article I read was just so... informative-seeming without actually teaching something. It felt icky.

Low-effort honeypot? In these times especially, it's wiser to be overly safe, I completely agree. 🖖🏼

Ew. It wants me to run a bunch of tracking scripts to "verify".
