Its a little unclear when exaclty we woud return, so if we could return like 1917 before bolsheviks took power and be able to kill off the top brass, history certainly could change quite a bit. Seems to me that this would be a huge gamble, but so are many other ideas such as bringing modern technologies with you.
What you’re describing is how to be resilient at a personal and community level which is well and good. It is also expensive, not accessible for many, and involves basically admitting defeat.
Yes it needa ressources, but so does being dependent on corporations and states for your food energy education etc. I feel like aiming for community resilience is of the ways we can do prefiguration, so I dont see it as admitting defeat.
I actually see it as one of the ways to organize and get ressources for what you are describing here:
We need revolutionary individual and mass action and to disassemble the capitalist domination systems that are baking our planet alive. There is no other way through where we make it out alive.
Do you want answers that show whats possible to do or more emotional answers/support? Because coming to this realization can make one feel extremely powerless and sad and many other things. Its hard to know that one of the global struggles of our century was lost despite the effort we and so many others put into it.

Just to be clear, this is just the opinions of one collective, but since its done in this qiestion/answer style, its a great source even if not every anarchist agrees with their takes. I think your questions mostly relate to part I5 of my linked page.
Calling out harassement and mobbing is not vicitm blaming, its actually quite the opposite. You should revise your rules for situations where its pretty clear that OP uses communities such as this and YPTB to further harrass their victims. Otherwise your community will filled with posts of people getting justified limits on their fediverse access based on their harassement and it will devalue every post that even has remotely to do with mod abuse.
Hosting harassement in a supposedly safe space is also pretty unsafe, because it makes this community unsafe for atleast the victims of OPs harassment.
If you got to lemmy.ml and make some post about the failures of leadership leading to recriminalising lgbt love and culture people will willingly discuss it. Or how there were flaws in their women’s lib attempts that lead to pay disparities and so on.
Not really my experience. I think its up to the mods mood that day or if they read you as "a good socialist" thats allowed to have critiques or as a "bad socialist" that somehow isnt allowed to have critiques.
I can just say, there will be atleast the anarchists from lemmy.dbzer0.com running their local, selfhosted AIs, doing genAI stuff and maybe also sharing their AI ressources with other less technical folks. There will probably also people that oppose any AI usage. But as long as there isnt an immediate conflict of interest, these two groups of people will be able to just coexist in peace.
Most anarchists that understand the technical basis of current AI technologies (and also many that don't) are oppossed to its usage as decision making machine or economy planner.

Calling anarchism a lifestyle is usually done by people that despise anarchism, because they believe its just aesthetics and doing punk stuff. If you would call it a way of life, I wouldnt have the same objections.
