It's a tiny gesture in the right direction, but saying "we should have called for a ceasefire earlier" is the smallest of statements. How about "We shouldn't be imprisoning those supporting humanitarian causes", or "We should have banned arms shipments to Israel in response to their actions"? They would be far more tangible.
Many of the shipments passed through East Midlands and Manchester airports, which are owned by MAG, which is mainly owned by Manchester’s local government entities, with its head office listed at Town Hall.

Does he go far enough? Probably not. I don't think so but I don't claim to be any sort of expert.
Is it a step in the right direction? Yes. Maybe Burnham won't be as much of a disappointment as Starmer.
Now if only he would also stop trying to censor the internet...
