I started this project in the 1990s when I was a teenager, though I don't remember exactly when. I probably put it away when I left for university and then forgot about it. I found it about 10 years ago, and have been working it on and off since then (normally I prefer to work on my quilting projects). I finally put in the last French knot today!

As someone born in the 90s, constantly making this mistake: aren't this roughly 35 years in the making?

Thanks! The swaths of the same colour made it pretty boring to stitch, part of why it took so long (and there are definitely mistakes in there).
I was debating whether I should put in 25 or 30 years cause I believe I got it in the mid to late 90s (that's when I really was into cross-stitching), but I didn't want to exaggerate 😆
