this is the most accurate description of tech-dependence that i've seen so far. it's 100% clear that all this integrate-the-newest-tech-into-your-life is only there to make us dependent on it and then rug-pull to increase the prices.
that being said, such integration events have happened in nature many times. the hardest-working parts of our cells (mitochondria) are literally foreign beings integrated really tightly into our own cells ...
