Yeah, earpuds as well. Though not earplugs, so just playing sound in or too close to the ear canal rather than something in it. Earplugs are just uncomfortable, but I'm wearing those only after night shift so tired enough not to notice it.

Any sound can be, if it's played through in-ear earphones. It can even be made worse when played through low quality/cheap/older generation ones. It's like getting stabbed in the ear by a screwdriver. It will automatically trigger fight or flight effect and i need to get those out.

I'd argue about the second point, it's not really time critical so can easily be a text, but otherwise. Yes, you're spot on

I have this odd and old mentality that phone calls are meant to deliver important time critical information.
So picking up the phone, delivering clear and consice information in as few sentences as possible, waiting for the other side to acknowledge that the information was received and understood and then ending the call.

Everything beyond that is just too much off the script and i blank out and go into default receiving mode and answer "ok" or any variation of it to everything.

Are you trying to say that anything beyond this single moment exists? Get out if here with that ludicrous idea.

As the other person already suggested. Reminding myself how little i care about what others do is rather helpful in reducing anxiety over the long term. It still does sometimes get to me as it's irrational, but i can handle it

It should be illegal even then or at least completely unacceptable. Car isn't something cheap where the excuse of subsidizing it's price with ads can be used, it should never ever display ads.

The only reasonable approach after car starts displaying ads is to ram it into this brands headquarters, preferably filled with something that has a tendency to rapidly expand.

Yeah i remember the shame due to it, eventually i just gave up and accepted my faith as a public fleshlight in prison or suicide through drugs.

Honestly that's a good idea and i pretty much let my daughter do the same. Seems to be working, she gets the school work done and doesn't disrupt the class either, of course there are some bad days, but we just brush those away. No point to make her feel even worse over those one offs. Luckily nowadays most teachers acknowledge mental differences as well and actually allow kids some fidgeting toys or plushies or even listen to music when doing some independent exercise.

Hey, we're talking about past time activity, not getting an extra job.

Though it does actually fit in the theme. Can't remember exactly how many hours i have in it, played it few years and keep getting back to it from time to time.

Bur for the love of god, it's pretty much secondary job, it's not really solo friendly game either. It's almost mandatory to join a corporation or group activities and generally in low sec to make any considerable amount of isk, but that comes with it's own set of obligations and of course the absolute constant threat of PVP.

Of course it's possible to stay in high sec and play solo, but that becomes rather insane grind fest or never even leave the station, but you better start loving EXEL.

Thanks to ADHD part. School was kinda useless, due to 2 quirks and how school is set up.

First, the sitting still and listening to the teacher. If i sit still too long i will doze off, there isn't anything i can do about it. It's completely out of my control, best i can say is be more stimulating. Yes it happens to this day. Most lessons in school involve sitting still and listening to someone just talk, you can imagine how regularly i dozed off. It doesn't matter how much i tried or wanted to pay attention and stay awake, it wasn't under my control. Majority of people cant even comprehend it. intrusive sleep

Second, school was set up to just pass a test, way too many teachers just gave a long list to memorize for the test. My memory and recall ability aren't under my control. It's ran by RNG(random number generator). Whatever i pass a test or not was completely up to chance, pretty much 50:50 every single time and 50% of correct answers was needed to pass. Most of the tests i passed and if i didn't, i just did it again and oftentimes odds were in my favor.

There were few lessons i did much better in. Like PE or woodworking or cooking, mostly because it was hand on active approach with those and no actual tests.

Luckily ASD side and lack of social awareness protected me from the worst of the social effects.
