they're projected to suck up about a third of our electricity supply by 2030. 🫠

idk about others, but i've been getting more & more powercuts than ever before in the last year or two; we just don't have the infrastructure to support them. i assume the data centres are going to start using a load of diesel generators as well, if they haven't already.

if only the government were half as focused on affordable housing as they are on ensuring that our environment is destroyed 🫩

Yes, and the Green Party got a moratorium on data centres until they were voted out. It's a real shame.
