More than £250 million (€293.38m) is to be invested into increasing policing in Jewish communities after a spate of violent attacks "so Jewish communities can live and celebrate their faith free from fear," the UK government has said.
The increased funding will see a surge in police presence, patrols, and protecting security outside synagogues and schools, as well as specialist plain-clothes officers in Jewish communities.
It will deliver more than 500 additional officers across England and Wales, including around 300 additional officers in London and around 80 in Greater Manchester, along with more officers for forces serving other areas with significant Jewish populations.
The package will also continue Project Servator, deploying specialist and plain-clothes officers trained to identify suspicious behaviour and prevent serious crime.

Guess how much funding is going to go to protecting Mosques

The government has had a scheme since 2016 to fund security for places of worship and in October they added an extra £10 million funding for Muslim community centres, bringing it up to £40 million a year.
Google is your friend and this whole 'Jews are the special minority' shtick you push is getting old.

So this money is shared between faith groups? People of Jewish faith get £250mil for themselves and I imagine more over the next few years.
They do indeed sound like the ‘special’ minority. Maybe it’s all the government lobbying (meddling) Isreal does to get them special treatment.
You can’t ignore the fact Muslims always have especially more recently been at the receiving end of a lot of unjustified hate. Where is their additional hundreds of millions in funding?

No, the £40 million is for Muslim community centres, it's just part of a larger scheme. I don't know how you got to that reading.
You understand that this is a deeply fucked up thing to say, right? There has been a genuine rise in antisemitic hate crime in the UK and the idea that the governments actions to address that must be because of Israel not only makes Israel look good, it unjustly links British Jews to Israel.
I agree that the government isn't doing anywhere near enough to protect Muslims, but that isn't the question I was responding to. It was about funding for Mosque security with the implication that it was 0, which it's not.

You literally said to fund places of worship. I didn’t realise that was a Muslim exclusive term.
Look at the amount of funding that goes to political parties coming from Isreal not just in the Uk but globally. How was this cash injection affected policy? I’d argue looking at the UK and US that the effect is huge. If it wasn’t a thing there wouldn’t have been a debate about it in parliament last month.
If even you can admit they’re not doing enough to support a faith who have been the target of hate crimes since the early 2000s you can’t really be defensive when someone calls you out on the funding discrepancy.

There was a third guy stabbed which is conveniently left out of the "antisemitic stabbing". Guess his faith.
There's 4 million Muslims in the UK and 300.000 Jews. But somehow Jews are getting much more funding despite being in much less danger.

The stabbing of the two Jewish men in Golders Green was clearly driven by antisemitism, though. He tried to stab a Muslim friend before travelling 8 miles without stabbing anyone to a famously Jewish part of London and stabbing two visibility Jewish men. The fact he tried to stab someone who is a Muslim doesn't mean the other attacks weren't driven by antisemitism.

The stabbing was done by a man who was very clearly mentally ill and was just released from a mental institution.
He literally stabbed the guy. What do you mean "tried to"?
8 whole miles? Is real life like GTA where your wanted level disappears if you travel 8 miles and everyone forgets about your crimes if you don't get caught?

The friend fended off the attack.
Now you're being a prick. If he was stabbing people only because of his mental illness, then why didn't he stab anyone travelling between Southwark and Golders Green? Did it conveniently only reactivate when he saw man wearing kippah.

Source? Reports say he got stabbed but got off with minor injuries. It is sill proscecuted as attempted murder.
Because he took the subway wich doesn't stop every mile.
And I just quickly looked it up and it seems it's a direct subway line from Northern Line Borough to Brent Cross station. He essentially stepped out of the station and was at the next attack location.
If he got off at Golders Green and were to stab people at random, is there like, a certain demographic he'd be likely to stab there?

The Standard:
He tried to stab his friend at around 8AM and didn't arrive in Golders Green until after 11. Did he not see anyone for 2-3 hours while taking the London Underground on a weekday?
