✱ Netflix's Confused State of Being

I watch tons of Netflix - but yesterday I came close to cancelling it outright.

They had the home run Derby presented live.. I missed the start of it by about 4 hours.

I thought wow ok now they have live sports events? Let me try this out.

I started it from the beginning and after the dry and tedious opening with the hosts, decided I want to fast forward past this and get to some action.

That's when I noticed the yellow markers on the playback timeline. On a whim, I FFd just past it - sure enough, 3 minutes of unskippable ads.

I backed out immediately and haven't watched anything on there since.

I remember when their whole model was that I paid monthly so I didn't have to watch ads. Prime did this, they all do it now.

Humanity is really circling the drain...
