Neat! For those OOTL, what is this card for and what makes it legendary? That is not addressed in the article at all.

It was a sound card, back when you had to buy that as a separate expansion card for your PC ('90s).

It was exceptional for the price. It had MIDI samples in it's own RAM, so they could be changed via software.
