MAGA Republicans repeatedly complain about pregnant trans men during congressional hearing

Yet another case of them thinking transgender men don't exists. "A transgender man can get pregnant" is not an opinion, it's a fucking fact. But to them it's "insane" as they say, because they are convinced that we're actually talking about a transgender woman, someone who was assigned male at birth.

The same shit keep on happening.

Transgender men are men. Which means that yes, some men can get pregnant. I don't make the fucking rules. 🤷‍♀️

And by "biologically male" what do they mean?If it's chromosomal, there are a not insignificant number of people who have XY chromosomes but are AFAB and can get pregnant. Often due to a resistance to testosterone or similar hormonal issues. This is why they stopped the idea of requiring blood tests to prove your gender.

And there are other intersex people who were incorrectly assigned male but actually internally have functioning uterus and ovaries. Sometimes it's because they had both a penis and vaginal canal and a gender was chosen for them, sometimes surgically and/or with forced hormone therapy. Extremely rare case, but it has been documented.

I wish these kinds of things would be brought up in these hearings, but usually the ones being interviewed are executives or other upper level people that have no specializations in that field because the politicians know they'd not be able to make this kind of stuff up.
