I was trying for ages to figure out how to have skins everyone can see in a LAN world with offline accounts. The Skin Shuffle mod worked perfectly, so I thought I'd share. You just install it on everyone's clients and it's good to go, syncs everyone up in real-time.

Sounds like you're running a cracked client.

Why? Setting the official method for offline mode, online-mode=false does not mean you are using a cracked client. I use this all the time because Microsofts crap servers go down all the time. If you read the description, it states that it doesn't even work for cracked clients.

Then what is the point of this post? xD

It's just information sharing, a normal thing people do. "I have this problem and this is how I solved it"

I think SkinShuffle still works because I am using a valid account, I'm just in offline mode. I'm not sure though 🤷♂️

This mod gets used pretty often in roleplay servers so users don’t have to log out to change their skin for in character purposes.

Nah I use offline accounts cause I'm playing splitscreen on my computer, so I want two instances open with the same Microsoft account
