Agreed. And I can only assume that this injury happened as a result of the suits in charge not doing enough to maintain safe working conditions for the cast.
Crazy that they're throwing away 6 months of shooting and starting over instead of giving the actor 6 more months to recover. I feel like that's just going to result in an overall worse show.

Though you’re probably right, I can’t help but think of the old age of movies where major actors were their own director, and did their own stunts involving houses falling on them, tumbling off of construction sites to the ground, or falling onto hot coals.
Not saying I prefer those days, but it’s astounding how much things have changed.
