Head to Bonavista, Newfoundland (at the right time of year. Do your research first). I’ve seen puffins in a few different places but that’s where I saw the highest quantity at one time.

Do your research on their mating schedules. I basically missed them in Iceland. We couldn't see them with the naked eye. I had to really crop these shots. If we had gone to a different spot, a more remote spot, there were hundreds. They come right up to your feet.

I love puffins. I’ve seen them in person several times now, they’re probably my favourite animal if you forced me to pick. I have a few pieces of art hung on my walls of puffins. I can try to get pictures later if anyone is curious to see them.
