I have one that reveals itself as you get close to the end of your drink.

Very interesting! I just reviewed one of their beans in my most recent episode of bean review here.

I have a bag of their decaf too which I’ll review soon, and which I’m much more of a fan of. If you read my review of their Sumatra offering you’ll know it wasn’t my favourite, but their Evolve Decaf is quite nice.

After reading your post, I want to try and find a really nice bag from them now. Maybe I just don’t like Sumatra.

Fair enough. I just can’t fathom spending that much money on a bag of beans in any capacity, I’d personally rather spend 50 on a 100g bag in that case, but that’s just me.

If I’m going to do a milk drink (usually for my wife or a decaf latte for dessert), it’s typically 36-40g espresso (18g in), 150ml milk. Otherwise I drink without milk.

That’s a large sum of money to drop on a big bag of beans. I only ever see small bags of the expensive stuff.

I read that as atomic coffee and was really interested for a second there. Seems like something you’d see in fallout. Reminds me of nuka-cola.

If you’re serious about it, I’d definitely say to go for the Fellow. It’s a really excellent kettle, but a touch pricey. You may be able to get it on sale though, I know I did.

It’s very precise, set to half a degree, you can even tell it your elevation above sea level and it’ll adjust boil temp too. It also has smart capabilities to connect to your phone but I’ve never messed with that before. Seems more like a gimmick to me.

Which grinder is that? Looks like an 1ZPresso but I don’t know all their models.

If you’re looking for a gooseneck kettle, I’m not sure what your budget is but I own the Fellow Stagg EKG Pro and it’s fantastic. My dad owns Cuisinart’s temp controlled gooseneck and I’ve used it before, it’s pretty decent too for less than half the price. I’ve also heard very good things about the Hario Buono and Timemore Fish but I don’t have any experience with either.
