First time trying these out, they’re the Kruve Propel glasses. I got them from Cafuné out in Montreal.

These glasses are awesome. Double walled where the drink sits/where you hold it, single walled where you drink from, and internal fins to allow you to properly mix your shot from just swirling instead of needing to stir with a spoon. And the aromas you get from the glass when you’re about to drink, truly wonderful. Highly, highly recommended. I’ll be buying myself more of these in the future for sure.

I keep forgetting to mention beans in my posts but I’m drinking Supernova by Hatch again. They’re pretty good filter beans but phenomenal espresso beans for my tastes. I’m not sure if it’s the beans or the glass or my technique improving but this is probably the best shot of espresso I’ve ever had in my life, seriously. And I’ve been drinking espresso at cafes long before I was into coffee.

do you like to drink your espresso as hot as possible?

Not as hot as possible, but I do like it to stay hot for a long time. It’s usually 15+ mins after brewing before I finish my drink. During my work days, I’m doing coffee while also doing the rest of my morning stuff so I might not even get to drinking my espresso for a bit. On my days off, I like to take my time and slowly sip. In both cases it’s a little while before it’s done being drank.
