Maybe feature a different type of espresso machine or different way of making coffee regularly. Pros, cons, personal takes etc.

While I’d love to be able to do that, I unfortunately don’t have the budget for a bunch of espresso machines, and only have enough experience with the Gaggia Classic Pro to give an in-depth breakdown on it. I’m currently saving for a Cafelat Robot which I’m hoping to pick up before Christmas, so whenever that happens I’ll absolutely make a post (or several) about it.

That's totally understandable.

I would definitely enjoy seeing a post about the Gaggia, if you felt so inclined, as well as the Robot.

New/different bean features are always nice to see.

Maybe a coffee tip of the week, or something along those lines. I'm just trying to help come up with some ideas :)

I could definitely feature new beans when I get a new bag. I could also do a write-up on my GCP. Tip of the week also sounds neat. Thanks for the recommendations! I really appreciate it. They’re great ideas. The espresso machine is too, I’m just not in the position to do that unfortunately.

I just wanted to let you know I’ve posted the first episode of Bean Review based on your recommendation! If you’d like to give it a read and offer any advice if there’s anything I should change I’d really appreciate it!

Oh, awesome! For sure, I'll check it out 😁

I recently saw the wiki feature that lemmy has. If people are interested, we could use that to collect the knowledge and tips people have for making coffee into a single place.

Maybe we could do a thread for this or use the posts that peopke have already made, like your coffee post and the water post from someone else.

I have no idea how to do that but I’d definitely be willing to learn. That seems like a great idea, actually.

I don't know either, just saw the feature recently and it sounded interesting for this community

It appears to be only properly visible on the actual web interface. I can't see the wiki on Summit for Lemmy. I made a test page for you to check out

I’ll take a look. Thanks.

I really need to reduce the amount of gear I have currently which is not being used and likely never will be used again.
