Gives me flashbacks of being a Danish kid in the late 80s trying to answer questions about 70s US congressional politics in order to play the first Leisure Suit Larry 😄
Oh. I missed that part in first panel and thought it was implied only old hippie people into gem therapy bullshit would recognize amethyst. I was like, weird take, since amethyst is not exactly rare and a cool looking stone with a rather unique colour.
I don't know how to switch accounts and fucked up my wife's entire persona she was building by commenting under her account. Instead of deleting the comments when I realised my mistake, I instead just switched accounts and left those comments there for her to find when she woke up. I claim to have planned to go back to delete them, but instead I was just gonna completely forget about them.

It was equally confusing for US kids in the 80s.

Very? Undoubtedly.
EQUALLY, though? Nobody I knew knew anyone who knew anyone who knew 😄

I remember learning about someone named Bo Derek from those questions.
I know there were some political ones but a lot of it was pop culture.
Had to search for some site that had the original quiz.

EDIT: you have to select the “original” tab, which has the questions from the original first version of the game.

A. A all the way. Just because "I work with computers" I can't magically make the printer work. They are dark sorcery.

The answer will always be threatening the printer with a hammer.

New Age
Apepollo11@lemmy.world · 80 pts · 33d
Two ways to read "a new age verification setup".
You assume it means:
a new "age verification" setup
But then find out if means:
a "new age" verification setup

But with the pun it makes much more sense.

It truly is the age of Aquarius

I mean the dawning of the age of Aquarius was like 50 years ago, so it makes sense.
