If Americans give two shits about how the rest of the world wants to interact with them, then they need to vote in AOC for two consecutive terms, with control of the house and senate.
If Americans give two shits about their own quality of life, then they need to vote in AOC for two consecutive terms, with control of the house and senate.
The question for her and others should be, where can she do the most good? Where is the actual ability to make changes? Ignore the current train wreck where everything is either an executive order or corporate allies as well as a corrupt justice dept. If it was a functional government, would President be best, long term, to make large changes that take time to accomplish?
She can't win. Not at this point in time, in these circumstances.
With that being the case, her platform doesn't matter. I dig that she's pretty close to the socialist side of what democrats offer (though not as close as Sanders, who still isn't quite where I personally want things as a next step). But me liking her overall stances doesn't make her a viable candidate to oppose the shit stains she'd be running against.
Whoever opposes the next right wing jackass has to be so damn electable that they can overcome the gerrymandering. That's a damn tall order for a woman, as much as it sucks to say. I don't think the us is ready to elect a female president. If it was, I'd think she was a good enough pick, though I do have doubts of her ability to function on the world stage.
As much as i like her and what she has done, i think it will be another Democrat disaster.
The GOP has a history of really evil black bag shit. I think they would do something to make her break down in public. If they can get her to cry on stage, it will be over.
There is a certain kind of mental resilience that comes with age and she doesn't have it yet.

She needs to run in the primary no matter what.
Even if she doesn't want to be president, even if she doesn't have a chance.
She needs to be in the primary to pull the discussion left

On one hand, Obama came out of nowhere to win it in 2008. Same with Jimmy Carter in 1976.
She's got name recognition, and certainly could dominate any debate.
On the other hand, she's young / female / Latin / New Yorker. Those are some big hurdles.
Realistically, she'd have to be making moves now to have any chance in 2028.
It's kinda obvious that Newsom is interested, and he would be popular with the old school Dems. A Newsom/AOC ticket would be very powerful.

What kind of bigotry exactly makes you think:
Is likely?
There's honestly so many possibilities I don't want to just make an assumption...
