The United Stares were the ones that started the concept of an international criminal court during the Neuremberg trials. How ironic to see they are now one if the biggest critics.

The USA is only a shadow of what it once was. You notice it with the tourists too: in the past: loud, omnipresent, fun to witness their blunt weirdness. Now they slink through the European cities, subdued, conversing in low voices, with Canadian flags on their outfits. I pity the fools.

Uh, I’d be careful about pining for the good old days of the US.

It once was a country built on slavery, then Jim crow laws and segregation.

Also genocide of native peoples.
