Second pair of new socks complete

One pair of stocks in 9 days. A personal best.

67 grams of yarn. Size 1 needles. "Strong heel" Barn Toe.

Cast on once, never pick up stitches.

I'm going to call this a winning general pattern. From here I can add some variety like cables.

never pick up stitches, you say? i'll have to look up this strong heel sorcery 🤔

the socks look great, your stitches are so neat. and fair play for getting them done so quickly too! 🙌

I wanted a new heal. No scrap yard afterthoughts. No picking up stitches. No second cast ons. Something that works both toe up and top down. I wanted to be able to put yarn on a needle knit until the sock was done. The strong heel was an amazing discovery.
