that it some seriously crazy looking AI "upscaling" or whatever the hell is going on with that background.

I can't remember ever seeing an image affected this way.

I'm guessing this picture was taken through a window screen.

Digital zoom x7 and through a window screen. Then zoomed in on a flower in the captured image

Not every image, but it fills in details when it would normally be blurry.

Sort of looks similar, I guess.

This is the worst I could do with my Pixel 9 Pro XL.
