For a lot of it, they just ask you for your email. I'm subscribed. I don't have enough money to actually pay the $100 a year for better access, but anytime I can read their articles, I do.
I think it's very worth the value, they've been doing amazing work on numerous fronts regarding technology, governance, and policing.

Please consider subscribing to 404 Media if you can, rather than just relying on the archive links. Real journalism requires funding.
