Yeah, literally his involvement in crypto soured it for the rest of the world. I sold what I had knowing it was all downhill from there. It's been tempting to buy back into it since everything is so damn low, but I just can't trust it.

Yes absolutely he claimed that, and as I see it, that was an attempt at a strategy to slow development with regulation, so he could catch up. Remember Musk is a con man more than anything else.
