EDIT: Wouldn't you want the slits to be on the outside of the bowl, so the water momentum carries all the debris out? I would think that some of the dirt / whatnot could just stay circling the outer edge, and may not drain when the water is shut off. I am not trying to nitpick. I mean, I am totally doing that, but not doing it to be a d-bag, just thinking out loud.
This has been on printables for a long time. Just make sure you coat the PETG with food safe epoxy. I think maybe you have to get it at just the right size for your water pressure though as the one I printed never achieved the vortex effect.

Oh, good point. How about having the slits start up a bit from the bottom so the water could pool before it could spill out of the slits.
