Not sure if that is an inteligent move with japan being one of the oldest countries in the world. But i'm not surprised as the current government is very right winged.
A country that has never been more dependent on foreign labor and skill in its history is trying run all of the foreign labor and skill out of the country.
The money thing is kinda BS but I’ve always thought that someone wanting to live in a different country should always have reasonable communication skills as well as understand and embrace the culture.
Well if the "younger" population are both used to robots from all their sci fi, maybe an intrepid mad scientist could create sex robots to be used by the youths that harvest semen and eggs for robot uterus.
