Time for people to start decrying this because “Nic Cage is Ghost Rider”, despite those movies being clowned on at release, and largely ignored in the decades since.

The movies weren't particularly good but Nic was excellent.

Very excited for this. Don't have big expectations but I think it won't disappoint. Also nice to hear that Gosling was the one that pitched the idea.

I liked Nic Cage but am interested in seeing how the newer special effects will dwarf those older cheesier ones.

Hopefully Robbie Reyes makes an appearance.

I’m calling him Ghost Rider Ken from now on

Nic Cage is the only Ghost Rider for me.

I disagree. There’s some cool action sequences and the origin was done pretty well, but as a long-time Ghost Riser fan I found the plots and bad guys boring, and Nic Cage’s weirdness doesn’t save it. And why doesn’t Ghost Rider talk? He’s pretty chatty in the comics.

There’s plenty of room to improve and do something really cool here.

Are any movies not remakes or live action reimaginings anymore?
