I thought wind was more expensive than solar as it actually needs maintenance. Or is it just offshore that costs more?

This isn't cost but externalities.

For cost please refer to levelized cost of electricity.

The big problem I have with Substack is that the owners are pro-Nazi. But they've somehow gotten a few ok writers onto the platform.
