The man at the helm of the Democratic Party’s main organizing apparatus is beginning to crack under pressure, according to insiders.
Nestled in a New York Times story about the Democratic National Committee’s dire financials was the mention of an incident between chair Ken Martin, a junior aide and a cell phone. Martin, who is contending with $2 million of DNC debt and a shrinking list of allies, reportedly threw his phone “in a pique of frustration” earlier this month.
Although the Times spoke with half a dozen people familiar with the incident, none witnessed it firsthand. There was also some contention over “how aggressively the phone was tossed,” and whether it was aimed at the desk or the aide. However, the incident sparked a formal complaint to the DNC’s human resources department.

$2 million debt? Have they tried never paying any vendor ever? It's the winning strategy apparently.

Paying the vendors is how the DNC grift works. The GoP can rely on ideology, but the DNC specifically exists to funnel donations to preferred vendors while maintaining plausible deniability.

Nobody wants to give their money to the DNC to waste. There's about a 50% chance they'll spend it on a MAGA, and a100% chance they WON'T spend it on a Progressive.
If you got money to donate, send it directly to your chosen Progressive candidates. Don't make them beg and cut deals with the Corpo-Establishment DNC.

Well if this guy is supposed to be the "not putting my thumb on the scale to promote neoliberals" guy then it makes total sense the scumbag Democrat party would turn on him. They either want GOP fascism or their "friendly fascism" where they just enrich themselves and who cares about anything else that happens. They want nothing to do with "allowing" actually popular candidates from getting in the way of more neoliberals entering Congress.
